Bix Benson

Bix has more than 30 years experience in investment banking commercial banking, business law and litigation. He has been engaged in the active private practice of law, specializing in business law, administrative law and civil litigation. Bix has also held several management positions at the National Bank of Detroit, First Chicago NBD, and Bank One. He has been involved with national banking, middle market banking and workouts.  Bix serves on the Board of Directors of New Era Ohio, LLC., Valpo Orthopedics Technology Inc., and HF Group, LLC. Bix has conducted a range of seminars including numerous 7 Habits of Highly Effective People Seminars in Detroit, Chicago, Columbus and Fort Wayne. Bix received his BA degree from the University of Michigan, his J.D. degree from the University of Maryland and his M.B.A. from the University of Michigan. He is a member of the Michigan and Maryland Bar Associations. Bix has held many community leadership positions including membership on the Canterbury School Board of Trustees, the Arts United Board of Directors, the Allen County Courthouse Preservation Committee Board of Directors, the Principle Centered Community Initiative Steering Committee and Rotary Club president.
